Approach to Counselling

Getting here was a big step—let’s take the next one together.

I work with adults of all identities and lived experiences. I hold a special interest in supporting people navigating:

  • 2SLGBTQA+ identities

  • Sex and sexuality

  • Gender identity and exploration

  • Current and former sex work

  • Chronic pain and the mind-body connection

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Alternative relationship structures, including polyamory and kink/BDSM

  • Life transitions

  • Non-suicidal self-injury

My Approach

My work is rooted in client-centred care. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in building insight, autonomy, and meaningful change in a way that aligns with your values.

I draw from a combination of approaches that honour both mind and body, including trauma-informed practices, somatic elements, emotionally-focused perspectives, parts-work, narrative therapy, and other therapeutic orientations. Together, we can explore patterns, process experiences, and move toward healing at a pace that feels right for you.

My intention is to co-create a space that feels safe-enough, affirming, and collaborative—one where all parts of you are welcome.
